2015

"In 2015, I felt inspired to reconnect with my background in horticulture through a collection inspired by flowers. Their shapes, textures, and colors guided me in creating pieces that were both delicate and structured. This year also featured a powerful collaboration with Foutu Tissu for the “Travailleuses autonomes” series, using Montreal police mugshots from the 1940s of sex workers and brothel owners. As a lifelong feminist, I wanted to give these women a voice through design." - Violaine

2015 was a year of creativity and collaboration. The flower-inspired collection showcased organic lines and botanical details while maintaining Veinage’s artisanal essence: reclaimed leather, wooden elements, and handmade production in Montreal.

The Foutu Tissu collaboration, “Travailleuses autonomes,” added a historical and feminist layer. These archival portraits highlighted women often marginalized, reimagined in a contemporary artistic context, reflecting Veinage’s core values: authenticity, boldness, and engagement.
